Hello Friends

I believe there are still some active players that earlier was raiding with FF and would love to get a try on ICC or ToC with out having to get there with a PUG group. I’m one of them and I now for example that Kalten, Kowko (hate that name and never get spelling correct) from MS/FP will come (has no choice) and probably some more from MS and hopefully from FP or other Friends. I know that the activity on the forum hasn’t been to great lately but ill give a try to check the interest of getting a group together and after that we can discuss the criteria’s of gear etc to be able to give ICC or ToC a try.

So, who are up for the challenge?

Promised Kalten I'd throw up a link to our Algalon kill that we nailed last night after 6 months of doing all hard-modes and then wiping for 4 weeks on Algalon (you only have 1 hour /week to kill him).

Wow, I am sorry to hear that! I hope you'll get back on your in-game feet soon. I guess I can see why Blizzard has pretty much decided that the authenticators will be mandatory in the very near future.

Aaaw so many hacks been going on recently.. :c
Hope the stuff gets back as soon as possible.

Its very sad news, but last night my battlenet account was hacked.

They stripped Toovo, Serial and my other alts.
They also stripped the guild bank (

I'm talking to Blizzard GMs, but recovery will take time.
I'll post when its all back in order.

In the mean time please leave the guild bank untouched, Blizzard CSI team are dusting for fingerprints.

Thanks for the suggestion, the ICC 5-mans do look like fun.

I've had other comments that I haven't set my heights very high.
I think the reason for this is that I have never tanked before and as well as gathering gear, theres a strong element of learning how to operate a protection paladin interwoven in this project.  Even the old familiar instances start to look very different when you're standing at the front  .

Last night (for example) I was very lucky to fall into a very friendly (and strong) VH PuG group that coped well with the fact that it is very easy to out aggro me atm.  I was ok on the single portal keepers and bosses, but had loads of problems catching and keeping hold of the dragonkin groups.

The immediate next move is to get a little practice on ToC normal.  When I'm a bit more confident I can then start risking random heroics before switching to the new content and the promise of the 219 item level drops.

Nice to see some action on the forum.
I’m currently busy with my horde project and reached 80 a couple of days a go. What I have learned from “having a new 80” is that the fastest way of getting “good enough” gear is:
* Run the new ICC in normal and as an plate character especially run the tournament dungeon (can’t remember the name but drops a lot of plate)
* Do the daily random heroic dungeon for badges
