What is Fireproof?We're a guild on the server Moonglade (EU). We see ourselves as a guild with mature players that enjoy both RP and end-game raiding. Fireproof was formed in September 2008, many of us are ex-raiders with experience from Hogger to Illidan. Our primary aim in Wrath of The Lich King expansion is to master all the 10-man raid content. We work on 25-mans as part of a guild cooperative called
Dawnfire Armada (see further down).
What we’re not.We are not a hardcore raiding guild.

We are not a guild with a core of people within guild.
What can you expect from us?A guild channel that is IC (In Character) and an OOC (Out Of Character) chat channel.

What’s the Dawnfire Armada?Dawnfire Armada is a cooperative formed between
Fireproof,
Dawn of Hope,
Midnight Sun and
The Mithril Guard. This allows us to see 25man content without having to brave pugs or leave our smaller guilds. Once a month we dedicate a week to our 25man runs, each guild has a set allotment of spaces so there's always a good mix of people every raid. But we don't just come together once a month for raids, we also have a channel in-game as we want our Dawnfire raids to feel like a giant guild run, and what better way to do that than to be among friends.
Raiding Schedule:We aim to rotate the days, so everyone can attend at some point. Raid sign-ups are done via our web calendar and the raids are generally posted a few weeks in advance.
A standard week will include 3 Ulduar runs and 1 Naxx run, usually 3 hours each (20:00 – 23:00).
Progress:Naxxramas 10 - cleared
Obsidian Sanctum 10 - cleared (not drakes)
Eye of Eternity 10 - cleared
Ulduar 10 – Siege, Antechamber and Keepers defeated.
Trial Of The Crusader 10 - Northrend Beasts, Lord Jaraxxus dead.
Why Fireproof?The name itself is mostly a raidjoke. The term “Don’t stand in the fire” is often used in end-game raiding, so we figured Fireproof would be a fun and little silly name that could represent us. We like to have fun and also like to raid. What makes us so special then? Well for us it’s the mix of players that come together for a common goal and grow together. We’ve seen a lot, of complete newcomers to raiding, climb on the healing / damage meters as they learn the raiding aspect more and more. We love the fact that we’re offering a community that involves both very experienced, newcomers and those in between a place to raid and have fun. We’ve taken some aspects of both raiding and RP with us from past and made it a part of Fireproof. We’re a friendly bunch and have a wide network on the server (many of us are veterans on the server). We’re not a hardcore guild in any aspect but we’re a serious guild that is lead by competent and active people.
